A great many Nordic walking and running routes are offered to persons seeking recreation and sport are available on our doorstep. Nordic walking and power walking form the ideal health programme. Easy on one’s joints and easy to learn, it strengthens the entire locomotor system and is ideally suitable for weight reduction.

Bathing fun

A large number of open-air swimming pools and bathing lakes ensure a cooling treat on hot days. A leap into cool water is the crowning conclusion to a long hike. The adventure swimming pool in Schladming offers fun for the entire family in poor weather.

Golf

Two delightfully located gold courses in the heart of majestic mountains have every golfer’s heart beating faster. The Dachstein-Tauern Golf & Country Club is 8km away in Haus im Ennstal. The demanding course was designed by Bernhard Langer and offers the highest standards.

The Schloss Pichlarn Golf & Country Club is about 35km away and counts among the most beautiful golf resorts in Europe. The course stretches over hills, valleys and through forests and is a real challenge for every golfer.

Adventure holiday

If you do not wish to miss a certain thrill you are in the right place for canyoning, flying sports or high-rope climbing garden. Counting among the further highlights is mountain go-kart driving from the Hochwurzen and the slalom kart track in Ramsau.
